Geena davis is an American actress that has been an actor for more than fifty years. Thelma & Louise Beetlejuice actress and Mensa performer who has played in the roles of Stuart Little, Thelma & Louise Beetlejuice. The actress won an Golden Globe Award nomination for her portrayal of Dottie in A League of Their Own. Her role as Muriel in the film The Accidental Travel which was a 1988 drama film won her the Academy Award for best supporting actress. She was a part of the American horror-comedy Beetlejuice that was written by and directed by Tim Burton. Virginia Elizabeth Geena Davis was born on the 21st of January 1956. She is an American actor as well as an activist. Davis is known for her TV and film acting. Davis has also received praise for playing genuine, strong women and also for her role as an advocate for females in the entertainment industry. From a young age, she became interested in the arts. When she was a teenager she began playing the piano, flute as well as organ. She had the opportunity to play the organ in her Congregationalist Church of Wareham. Davis studied at Wareham High School. He was also an exchange student in Sandviken Sweden which was where he grew skilled in Swedish. New England College was her first stop before Boston University awarded Davis a diploma in drama in 1979. The youngest child of Italian father Barry Nelson and Mexican mother Josie Nelson. The youngest of three siblings named Nathan three siblings: Neal, Nathan and Nick. When she was a child her family was in Concord California. As a child, she aspired to be an elite soccer player. Unfortunately in 2002 when she was in her final year of high school, she injured her ankle. Following her recovery from the injury, she went on to play as a striker in Pleasant Hill California at Diablo Valley College which she graduated with an associate's degree in Art. She was named Junior College All-American and transferred to Arizona State University, where she stopped playing soccer due to self-doubt. After this she transferred to California State University Fullerton and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management, with a specialization in human resource management. After these studies, she relocating in Los Angeles in order to pursue modeling and acting work. In the process of searching for a job when she came across the casting call for W.W.E. Through chance and impressed the talent-scouts with a successful test of 4 weeks. Then she moved from the city of her birth to Orlando Florida, where the Performance Center was located. Total Divas W.W.E, a T.V. reality show starring the Total Divas W.W.E. show. After that, she colored her hair red and took on the ring name Eva Marie. After a few tumultuous years with W.W.E. She ended her contract with W.W.E. anymore.
